Youngsters just finishing school has an easier route to become an electrician. They don’t have any commitments and thus can survive for a few years on an apprenticeship wage. They will most probably get their JIB registration easier than someone older with commitments and bills to pay. for them a JIB registration is almost impossible. Unless you are working close to the industry and have an employer willing to sign off your AM2 modules.
